We’re #2!
Finally, we own the #2 spot on Google. Yes I know someone’s mere mention of “perpetual bachelor” still trumps my entire deal here but a victory is a victory. Two is better than three. Hell, two can be better than one. Like a back up QB. Getting paid not to get hit.
I never minded being second in line. I like watching the person going before me screw up. If I were to personify #2, I would say its patient. It knows everyone is watching #1, plotting even. Meanwhile the deuce chills out, having beaten all but one, knows the wisdom found in defeat and still gets to claim to be the underdog. Everyone needs some time at #2. You become a man at #2. You learn the big game at #2. Everyone knows the great 1’s were previously 2’s.
Ok, yes, pointless….anyway.. .my beloved repeat offenders that return here for each posts will recall that I usually like to discuss things at a general level and do not like to get personal. (because it’s lame, narcissistic and inconsiderate to other parties involved) Yet, reading through some old things I found something that may have some sociological value and embarrass me totally. But you know what, I don’t know you, and I have no shame.
I have been writing since the age of 13. The easiest thing to write is all the world is sappy, gross, love poetry. If you have a soul, they are going squeeze out here and there. There has to be some sort of insight to get by looking at 20 years of a man’s life through his crappy love poetry. I find that type of stuff interesting; just wish it didn’t have to be me. Let’s just it considerate payback to all those who have been irked or insulted by my previous posts.
“13-31” will be the countdown to that corporate conspiracy we call Valentine’s Day. How do people develop emotionally on this topic? Do they ever learn anything? Any contributions are welcome and will be credited. Not, that I am afraid of standing alone expos….to tell you the truth all the works will be from a friend of mine…except the cool sounding angry ones…all the other stuff is this other guy I know.
Thanks!
